Manuel Turizo (full name Manuel Turizo Zapata) is an urbano and reggaeton singer songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Colombia whose trademark is his smooth buttery tenor singing voice. He's made major inroads globally into Latin pop. Una Lady Como Tu from 2016 received the Colombian Kids Choice Award as The Most Popular Song for 2017. The album he released as his debut ADN was released by La Industria Inc., an Medellin-based Sony distribution company. The album peaked at the rank of eighteen on the Top Latin Albums charts. The following year, he joined forces with Ozuna to create Vaina Loca which reached number five on the Top Latin Albums chart. In 2020, he collaborated with Noriel on Mala Influencia and released the album Dopamina in the following year. The year 2021 was the first time he performed in a duet with TINI for her hit stream single Maldita Foto. In 2023, 2000 with the hit La Bachata was released. Turizo was raised in an musical family.
